[:en]INSTRUCTIONS ON WORSHIP (vs. 1-15)

Paul commanded them to pray for kings because during that time, emperor Neor was a notorious cruel ruler.  He persecuted Christians and publicly butchered Christians and fed them to the animals.

We have to pray for those in government authorities so that we can live a peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

Jesus Christ wants all men to be saved by sscrificing himself as a ransom for all.  He is the mediator between God and men.  Paul was an apostle and a teacher of true father to the Gentiles.

Women should dress modestly with decency and propriety.  Beauty begins inside a person which is manifested by her gentle and loving character and good deeds.

According to Jewish culture in the first century, women were not allowed to study. Because they did not have enough knowledge and experience, Paul did not want the Ephesian women to teach.  They were susceptible to false teachings as they did not have enough biblical knowledge to discern the truth.

Paul pointed out God’s design for His created order.  He wanted that a woman should learn in quietness and full submission to maintain harmony in the family and the church.[:]
