This strict discipline for the body made them appear to be self-righteous. “For everything God created is good and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer” (v.4) Be a good minister of Christ Jesus by bringing the truths of faith of good teachings. Be in good shape both physicall and spiritually. Develop your spiritual muscles using God-given abilities for the serevice of the church. Train yourself to be godly for godliness has value for all things holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. (v. 8). Put your hope and trust in the living God, the Savior of all men.
