[:en]DOES IT SPARK JOY?

A young Japanese woman named Marie Kondo is famous for her book on decluttering and organizing things at home.  The question that she asks is:  “Does it spark joy?”  If the answer is affirmative, then keep it.  If the answer is no, then give it away.

Apostle Paul urged the Christians in Philippi to pursue joy in their relationship with Christ.  He urged them to pray about everything, to rejoice and let God’s peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ. (Phil. 4:4-7)

Here is a recipe of joy from Paul:  “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true…noble…right…pure…lovely…admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things (Phil. 4:8).  If you want JOY, focus on the Lord. – (David Mccasland)[:]
