[:en]David described all the gifts that God had bestowed on him – his heart’s desire, his lip’s request, rich blessings, crown of pure gold, life, splendor and majesty, eternal blessings, joy of God’s presence. We must also thank God for all we have – wealth, position, health. talents – and use them to glorify Him.
Because David trusted the Lord for His unfailing love, he was never been shaken. God stabilized his throne. When we trust in God, we will also have permanence and stability. We can never be shaken because He is our foundation of solid rock. He will never leave us nor forsake us.
Do not be dismayed when we saw the temporary advantage that God’s enemies have. Their power is only temporary. God will intervene and give the wicked the judgment they deserve in His time.
At the end, David praised the Lord by saying “Be exalted, O Lord in your strength, we will sing and praise your might” (v. 13)
