[:en]BEARING GOOD FRUIT
The Psalmist in Psalm 1 described a person “whose delight is in the law of the Lord . . . is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season” (vs. 1-3). Truly, the quality of the “fruit” in our life – our words, actions and attitude – depends on our spiritual nourishments. If we spend quite time before the Words of God, we will be rooted in reliance on Him and bear good fruits. Paul wrote in Galatians that the fruit of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control” (Gal. 5:22-23)
God is our strength, wisdom, joy, understanding and peace. (Ps. 119:28. 111, 144, 165). When we read His words, it points us to Him and the work of God’s Spirit will be evident in our lives. – (Peter Chin)[:]
