[:en]When Ziphites had gone to Saul and told him that David was hiding among them, (1 Sam. 23:15-23), David wrote this Psalm asking God to save him and vindicate him. He was attacked by the enemy who did not believe in God. He cried out to the Lord Jehovah for help.
Then we see a turning point. “Surely God is my help, the Lord is the one who sustains me” (v. 4) “For He has delivered me from all my troubles, and my eyes have looked in triumph on my foes” (v. 7). God had destroyed the evil men. So David ended his psalm of praise saying ” I will sacrifice a freewill offering to you; I will praise your name O Lord, for it is good” (v. 6)
When David had trouble, he trusted God, which resulted in triumph and brought about praises to the Lord from his heart.
If you have problems, follow what David did. Cry out to the Lord for help. Trust in Him, and your trouble will soon be turned into triumph. Then praise the Lord and offer a sacrifice of freewill offering.[:]
