[:en]David defeated the Philistines twice.  His fame spread through every land and the Lord made all nations fear him.[:]

[:en]David brought back the Ark from Abinadab’s house on a new cart with the oxen carrying it.  When the oxen stumbled, Uzzah reached out his hand to steady the ark.  He was struck dead because he had touched the ark.[:]

[:en]When David became king, he conquered Jerusalem and made Joab the commander in chief.  He restored the city of David and became more powerful because the Lord was with him.  He had mighty fighting men and many warriors who joined him.
