[:en]God judged people who were worshiping idols, following occult practices, and violating dietary laws.  But He always had His faithful remnants (vs. 8-16).  He will create New Heavens and New Earth and it will be a  time of rejoicing and blessings (vs. 17-25)[:]

[:en]The Jews were defeated by their enemies and yet God held His peace and did not intervene (vs. 1-3)  Today, Israel is also experiencing similar situation when all Arab nations are against them.  Someone should rise up and call on the people to confess their sins and pray to seek for His mercy. [:en]The Day of vengeance and the Year of Redemption has come. (v. 4)  He will defeat His enemies and save His own people (v. 8).  Isaiah prayed for the people and emphasized on God’s tenderness and compassion (v. 15)[:]
