[:en]Peter healed a crippled beggar at the temple through the power of Jesus’ name.  He not only preached to a large crowd but he also reached out to individuals.[:]

[:en]The Spirit came at the day of Pentecost.  Peter addressed the crowd and many accepted his message of repentance.  There were 3000 who were baptized and added to their number.  The believers had fellowship with each other to the breaking of bread and to prayer and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by apostles.[:]

[:en]After Jesus was taken up to heaven, the disciples wanted someone to replace Judas.  They proposed 2 men:  Joseph called Barsabbas (also known as Justus) and Matthias.  They prayed and cast lots and the lot fell to Matthias, so he was added to the eleven apostles.[:]
